The Office of Revenue has launched an automated email campaign targeting potential businesses that may be operating without a required City of Atlanta business license. The purpose of this campaign is to encourage compliance and ensure that all businesses operating within city limits are properly licensed.
As part of this initiative, business owners will receive automated emails sent from an address that ends with “@occupationaltax.atlantaga.gov”.
Email recipients should visit the City of Atlanta’s Business Occupational Tax and Permitting Portal, ATLBIZ, to apply for an occupation tax certificate.
