SERVICE UPDATE: The Department of Public Works (DPW) sincerely apologizes for the recent delays in yard waste collection in your area. The delays are due to several factors, including increased volumes of yard waste, staffing constraints, and necessary adjustments to collection routes, which have impacted the ability to complete pickups on the regular schedule.
If your yard waste was not collected on the scheduled day, it will remain on the list for pickup and will be serviced as crews can complete their routes safely and efficiently.
Please be assured that DPW’s Solid Waste Services team is actively working on extending routes and reallocating resources to restore normal service levels as quickly as possible. DPW appreciates your patience and remains committed to improving service reliability and minimizing future disruptions.
Yard trimming collections are collected bi-weekly.
If today is your scheduled pick-up day for bi-weekly collection, please allow until 3:30 PM for collection to be completed.
If it is after 3:30 PM and THE YARD TRIMMINGS ON YOUR ENTIRE STREET WERE NOT COLLECTED, you may contact ATL311 at 404-546-0311 or create a request by completing the form below.

Twenty-one (21) or more bags of yard trimmings are considered a bulk pick-up. If you have 21 or more bags of yard trimmings, please search for Bulk Collection Requests.
Yard trimmings and tree branches (cut to a maximum of six (6) inches in diameter and four (4) feet in length) should be in BROWN PAPER disposable yard trimming bags, reusable yard trimming bags MARKED REUSABLE YARD TRIMMING BAG, a small loose pile or a container marked YARD TRIMMINGS.
City of Atlanta residents (no businesses) may also drop off yard debris at Hartsfield Landfill, 2175 James Jackson Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30318.

Monday through Friday – 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
Saturday – 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
