The City of Atlanta Department of Transportation inspects damage to sidewalks, curbing and driveway aprons in the City’s right of way that is the result of tree root damage or that creates imminent danger to the traveling public.

The inspections are funded by the City if the damaged area is caused by tree roots in the City right of way.

The inspections are funded by the citizen if sidewalk repairs are adjacent to their property.
